Tuesday Thoughts

I am bravely posting this picture...  but I just had to share... best friends, already!

Weslee and Lucy's "first" picture together... awe wee... sweet girls!

I guess technically it is also me and Weslee's first picture together... but Lucy looks cuter than I do so I'll stick with that- because, as if you cannot tell, Me and Lucy have fully "popped" and now have the official "I'm tired... and hot.. and READY" expression. 

 I feel it is the expression that all women, 9 months pregnant, should have!

Here is a close up of my adorable baby niece, Weslee... She's perfect, and SO sweet!

And isn't this just the spitting example of their future as brother and sister?? She's already fed up! :0)

Saturday night Mrs. Dana threw Colby a "Men Only" Daddy Diaper Party at her house! Colby and the guys had the best time hanging out, playing poker, swimming, etc.  The best part about this party... (besides the fun Colby had with his buds) is that we are fully STOCKED on diapers for our sweet baby girl!  What a HUGE blessing and help this will be for us! 

It think it is a fabulous idea for two reasons: - **Pay attention all Mommys-to-be**

1) Daddy gets to be involved, and "showered" but in a way he appreciates: pizza, beer, and guy fun.

2) Each guy brings a pack of diapers... which means... You and Daddy are helped tremendously with those first month grocery bills once the new baby arrives! (get it... no diaper purchases necessary...)

Yes... that is Lucy's closet... stacked to the top with diapers! I am so excited about this... I mean... think of how much this simple gesture by his guy friends is going to help us out- ah.. such a blessing. We are so grateful for such amazing friends and family.

And for those of you admiring her "wardrobe"... I have to give credit to my sis-in-law, Cassie! She gave us a lot of Meena's baby clothes!! Such fun!!

I do love the "organizer hangers" I found on zulily.com- they let you organize each outfit by size: newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, etc.  SO helpful!
