Lucy- 7 months!

I have been majorly slacking on the blog front about updating Lu's month by month.  She is GROWING up so quickly that really, there is a lot to miss if I don't write it down!  In just the last month she has learned to do so much!!  I'll let her tell you :)

I can sit up... all by myself!

I can roll over front to back and back to front and I love to do it!

I also can scoot and turn around while on my belly- which means Momma's days of putting me somewhere and I stay there.. are numbered over.

I'm saying "Da-Da" and "oof" (like woof except no "w"!) I am almost saying Ma-ma.. but it is usually when food is around and so it really is more of a "mmm-ahh" sound right now. 

I also laugh.. A LOT. I am such a HAPPY baby!

I love to give and receive kisses (even though I don't look too thrilled in this picture, ha!)

EVERYTHING goes into my mouth these days.  I shake it up and down a few times then shove it straight into my mouth. YUM YUM  

(and you all should know that my Daddy would not let Mommy take me out of the house until she took this head band off of me... bah hum bug Daddy)

I eat three times a day now! 

Our typical feeding schedule looks like this:

Oatmeal and 4 oz of milk at breakfast (around 6)

 4 oz bottle @ 10

 jar of fruit around 11

 4 oz bottle @2-2:30 ish

Dinner (4 oz bottle,veggie and rice cereal) @ 5:30

4 oz bottle @8

I LOVE all foods... there isn't one I don't like! 

I am growing so big.  I weigh 17.4lbs now at 7.5 months old!

The reason mommy knows my exact weight is because we have been to the doctor A LOT lately for my ears and everytime we go.. they weigh me!

 I  have to get tubes put in this Thursday to help this fluid in my ears drain.  FOUR antibiotics have not cleared it up so Mommy took me to see Dr. Lee and he said, "Yep. TUBES it is". 

I love to help mommy cook each night. I sit in the kitchen and bang on pots and pans while she does the heavy work! I also like to watch Miss Spider, Yo Gabba Gabba, Baby Einstein videos and the Wonder Pets (those are my favorites... and they make me laugh out loud)

I love when Daddy tries to "get me".  Mommy will hold me and Daddy chases us around the house.  I think it is REALLY funny how silly Mommy and Daddy look. I laugh just to please them. It works, they love to hear me laugh!

I am also getting the point where I don't like to be alone in a room.  If Mommy or Daddy walk out of the room we are in, I scream out.  I don't cry, I don't fuss.. I literally let one "AAHH" out and they come back.  I have them trained pretty well I must say.

I love to meet people.  When Mommy and I go shopping, I put on a show for everyone I see.  Big smiles, a little coo here and there. I love it.  I also LOVE my stroller- either shopping or taking a walk around the neighborhood, I'm as happy as can be! 

I am still sleeping through the night.  We have my last bottle around 8 and I am out like a light until 6 in the morning.  Occasionally I have woken up around 4am wanting my pacifier, it can be hard to find in the middle of the night. Also, this month my ears have bothered me a couple of nights so I needed some extra lovin. 

All in all... It has been a great month, even with all my ear troubles I have been a sweet girl. 

I wonder how much I'll learn/grow by next month!

(I mean... how can you help but smile back at me? Especially with my fluff! HA!)
